Biddy Basketball is not just a game to be played or a competition to be won. It’s an opportunity to engage children in a healthy activity that will contribute to their overall wellbeing and development. Participants of Biddy Basketball will learn important life skills, increase cognitive functions, and be provided with appropriate skill level training. To achieve these goals, Biddy Basketball focuses on her Core Purpose and the need to Serve, Preserve, Build, and Create.
Core Purpose
To strengthen communities by nurturing sincere relationships grounded in love, respect and compassion, without prejudice of race, culture or faith, above all else.
Biddy Basketball believes that outside of the home, communities serve as a vital role in the habitual and spiritual development of an individual. Territorial boundaries provide a tool for enhancing community cohesion while competition brings people together to support and interact positively with their neighbors to bridge distances and embrace the shared interest in the development of the youth. A strong community builds a generation of strong individuals who benefit the greater good of society.
Through ever increasing advances in technology, individuals have more opportunities to detach themselves from human interaction and communication. Biddy Basketball practices, games, scrimmages and tournaments provide children and adults with allotted time to interact with others on a more personal level. Coaches inspire and mentor; athletes learn and play; parents support and encourage.
Everyone deserves love, respect, and compassion. However, in the heat of the game, sometimes we fall short of our personal standards in the way we treat others. Biddy Basketball provides resources to coaches, athletes and parents on how to honor the game with the utmost dignity for themselves, their peers and community.
Biddy Basketball believes that we are all connected in the journey of life and we recognize and embrace the beauty of all our God-given differences. Biddy Basketball partners with other like-minded organizations to broaden our participants understanding of the diversity that exists in our world so that we may all come to love one another as equals and to create bonds of lasting peace and unity.

Biddy Basketball's “Way to Excellence” is designed to help coaches, parents, and players uncover daily prayers and activities, as well as, sports related tactics that encourage love for each other.

Honor the game by helping kids develop a sound fundamental mindset The two guiding principles of Biddy Basketball that are befitting to a child’s age and physical abilities are: One (1), rules that maximize a child’s ability to learn the fundamentals with participation and two (2), tools that mature with the athlete to ensure proper form and technique.
They called it “The Beautiful Game.” The 2014 NBA Championship game played by Gregg Popovich and the San Antonio Spurs was “played as it should be, as it’s meant to be and how it hasn’t been played in decades. They executed the fundamentals of basketball at the highest level making them truly worthy of NBA champions.” –Marek Warszawski

As a registered member of Biddy Basketball all directors and coaches will have access to a plethora of resources to help them on their path of serving our youth; including, but not limited to:

- Teamwork and Leadership Skills that Improve Self-Esteem, Self-Respect and Self-Worth

The Biddy Basketball Foundation, founded in 2014, was created to bring awareness to the interconnectedness of all people by offering resources and services, including, but not limited to:
- An online discovery database for children and adults to explore the history and modern day lives of people all around the world
- Highlights of other groups and organizations that are striving to make a difference in the lives of the youth
- Outreach opportunities for Biddy kids and coaches who are interested in taking a more “hands on” approach
